Rachel Lovelady MSN, APRN, FNP-BC
Rachel Lovelady is a Family Nurse Practitioner board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She attended Kansas State University and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Life Science degree in 2006. Rachel received her second Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Rockhurst University in partnership with Research College of Nursing in 2007, and began her nursing career in the Critical Care Unit at Overland Park Reginal Medical Center in Overland Park, KS.
Rachel then completed her Master of Science in Nursing degree in 2010 from the Research College of Nursing while working in the Critical Care Unit, and was also inducted as a member into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She moved to Texas in 2011 with her husband where she began her FNP career in an Urgent Care setting for a short period before working at a private Family Practice. Rachel and her husband moved to Colorado in 2013.
Rachel has experience in treating multiple family practice and acute care issues such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, asthma, depression, and hormone imbalances to name a few.
Rachel launched her passion for people and the community participating in a multitude of philanthropic activities as part of Kansas State University’s Gamma Phi Beta chapter. Her care for others continues to extend beyond the clinic as an active member of the Junior League of Denver where she volunteers to improve children’s literacy in the Denver community. Rachel cares for her own healthy lifestyle through the joys of gardening, photography, cooking, skiing, hiking and exercising.
